The expansion of Methodist Stone Oak Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, will include a four-story structure, with more than 100,000 additional square feet of space, which is being built above an existing single-story facility. About 20,000 square feet of space in the current floor will be renovated as part of this project. The expansion will result in Methodist Stone Oak having more than 70 additional beds on the third and fourth floors, including more than 20 surgical step-down beds as well as a 15-bed acute rehabilitation facility. The hospital will also add space for women’s services and for its neonatal intensive care unit on the second floor. The first floor will house the pharmacy. The project includes a five-level parking garage.
